found an apartment--a roomy 1-br in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The good news is that it's nice and comfortable, with plenty of room for a cat to scamper around and pee in corners. The bad news is it's in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, hipster heartland of ironic hairstyles. I won't complain. I'm ecstatic to find a place--a lovely one at that, and I'm indebted to the woman who's letting me sublet it. This is just a brief explanation of why I might start wearing a mullet and/or growing a handlebar mustache. I plan to be hip as balls.
